Description

Notice of Intent to Award The Peace Corps, Acquisitions and Contracts Management Office intends to enter into a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Purchase Order for transit subsidy benefits with Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA). In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), it has been determined there is only one responsible source for the WMATA SmartBenefits. The period of performance for this contract will be a one (1) year base plus four (4) option years, with a total possible period of performance of October 1, 2018 to September 30, 2023. This is not a solicitation for quotations, proposals or an invitation for bids. The Government does not anticipate receiving responses to this notice of a non-competitive action. As WMATA serves the entire Washington Metropolitan area with bus and rail transportation, all responses must include a signed agreement with WMATA showing WMATA's clear intent to allow the company in question to use the Metro station properties. Detailed capabilities must be submitted to the below email addresses not later than fourteen (14) calendar days from the date this announcement appears in the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO).If parties choose to respond, any cost associated with preparation and submission of data or any other cost incurred in response to this announcement are the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government.
