- Solicitation RFQ Breads Instructions Re: 15B51018Q00000014, Bread Items Federal Correctional Institution La Tuna, Texas Quoter: Accompanying this cover letter is a solicitation package for various bread items for delivery to the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, La Tuna, Texas. This solicitation is unrestricted under NAICS: 311812. This package contains all necessary information for submitting a request for quote for evaluation. The following MUST be completed and submitted with your quote; - Standard Form (SF) 1449 - Solicitation/Contract/Order for Commercial Items and continuation sheets Please note the place of performance for this solicitation; - Federal Correctional Institution, La Tuna, Texas 8500 Doniphan Road Anthony, Texas 79821 Quoters are advised the Government reserves the right to make single or multiple awards based on lowest price technically acceptable. The Government will award to the responsible quoter(s) whose quote, conforming to the solicitation, is most advantageous to the Government. Please quote only on those items specified. Do not change the item description. Do not use phrases such as "Minimum award amount", "Allow none", or any other phrases that would limit the government from awarding by line item. ANY CHANGES TO THE SOLICITATION CAN RESULT IN THE GOVERNMENT REJECTING PART OR THE ENTIRE QUOTE SUBMITTED. Ensure you complete blocks 17a, 23, 24, 30a, 30b, and 30c of SF-1449 and the continuation sheets. All potential quoters are advised that this solicitation includes the clause FAR 52.212-4 for Commercial Items, System for Award Management (SAM). This clause requires all contractors doing business with the Federal Government to be registered in the SAM database. Quoters should include their Data Universal Number System (DUNS) number in their quotes. The Contracting Officer will verify registration in the SAM database prior to award by entering the potential awardee's DUNS number into the SAM database. Failure to complete the registration procedures outlined in this clause may result in elimination from consideration for award. All communication regarding this Request for Quote (RFQ), including any of a technical nature must be made via email to the Contracting Officer. The Contracting Officer assigned to this procurement is the undersigned. Your attention is directed to the fact that the Contracting Officer is the only individual who can legally commit or obligate the Government to an expenditure of public funds should a contract result from this RFQ. Accordingly, all communication prior to award shall be directed to the Contracting Officer, in writing, to vx5jackson@bop.gov Quotes shall be received on or before the deadline of June 28, 2018, 6:00 a.m. MST. Quotes shall be submitted to the following email address: vx5jackson@bop.gov PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT QUOTES TO ANY LOCATION OTHER THAN THE ONE LISTED ABOVE.
