Drawing: 91-102-53 - Gelberman Transverse Frames and Details Drawing: 91-100-G6 - Docking Plan Drawing: 91-100-G1 - Profile and Arrangement Bid Schedule The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District intends to award a firm-fixed price Job Order under a Mastership Agreement for the Repair of the Drift Collection Vessel "GELBERMAN" for the New York District. The in accordance with (IAW) the specifications listed in the scope of work. The quoter MUST meet the specifications as listed in the solicitation. Prior to the award of this Contract, the Contractor shall enter into a "Mastership Agreement for Repair and Alteration of Vessels". If the Contractor has entered such an agreement prior to this Contract, that agreement may be utilized. For more information, see DFARS Subpart 252.217-71, Master Agreement for Repair and Alteration of Vessels. There will be Liquidated Damages associated with this procurement. Payment and Performance Bonds will not be required. Period of performance is 50 calendar days after delivery of vessel to Contractor's shipyard location. These dates are not flexible. All Contract work shall be performed at a location within a 300 nautical mile radius from Caven Point Marine Terminal, Jersey City, New Jersey. Pre-quote inspections may be held to allow all prospective Quoters to inspect the vessel. The pre-quote inspections can be held by appointment in Jersey City, NJ. Representatives of prospective Quoters wishing to attend should contact William Lyness at (201) 309-2360 for the specifics of the exact location and time. FAR provisions and clauses applicable to this acquisition are provided on an attached SF1449 and are incorporated in its entirety. Each quoter is required to fill out and sign the SF1449 and return a signed copy along with their proposal by the closing date and time listed. If there are any amendments to this requirement, all amendments are required to be filled out, signed, and submitted with the attached SF1449 document by the closing date and time of the solicitation. All questions pertaining to the scope of work are due no later than June 20, 2018. Submissions for questions and answers after this time and date will be at the discretion of the contracting officer. All contractors are required to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database before award of a contract as required by FAR 4.1102. All quotations shall be submitted electronically by (3:00PM) EST on June 25, 2018 to Adriana Dunaway at adriana.a.dunaway@usace.army.mil. Quoters are encouraged to submit their quotation prior to the deadline listed above.
