SOLICITATION NO. 36C24218Q0584 Purpose: The purpose of this synopsis is to provide a notice to the public of information applicable to the Well Water Testing and Water Quality Report for Veterans Administration, Northport VA Medical Center (VAMC). Authority: Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) is issuing this synopsis in accordance with FAR Part 5.204 Pre-solicitation Notices. Description: The Northport VA Medical Center has a need for collecting and analyzing water samples and water quality report in accordance with NY State requirements. The scope of work includes sampling and testing of five drilled wills, distribution points, air strippers, and entry points. Place of Performance: Department of Veterans Affairs Northport VA Medical Center 79 Middleville Road Northport, NY 11768 Procurement Type: This will be a competitive acquisition set-aside for service disable veterans owned small business (SDVOSB) participation, competed in FedBizOps. Contract Type: Firm Fixed-Price Period of Performance:  This acquisition contains a base year with 4 one-year option periods for a total contract period of performance of 5 years. Government-Furnished Property/Equipment: None noted at this time. Release Date of the Solicitation: It is anticipated that Solicitation No. 36C24218Q0584 will be released after June 18, 2018.
