- Sources Sought. THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE IS A MARKET SURVEY AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS. THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT INTEND TO AWARD A CONTRACT ON THE BASIS OF THIS SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS. The Marine Corps Logistics Command Albany, GA is conducting a sources sought to obtain information to determine the availability and capability of qualified sources for the Rockwell Automation Arena Software Version 15.1. The purpose of this is to allow the discrete event simulation of remanufactured and maintenance workflow through the Albany Depot. The analysis and optimization of Depot workflow are key objectives of the project. Model will detect bottlenecks, delays in maintenance activities and unnecessary delays. Remanufacturing and maintenance of heavy ground vehicles (LAVs, AAVs, Cougars, etc.) are key functions of the Albany Depot and are in direct support of the Marine warfighter and Department of Defense mission. The workflow patterns through the various work stations (e.g., paint booth, non-destructive testing, inspection, etc.) are varied and complex. Delays and bottlenecks can occur, resulting in inefficient material processing and extra cost to the Command. POP 16 July 2018 - 15 July 2019 with four 12 month option periods. NSN PSC NOMENCLATURE 511210 D503 Arena Simulation Software, Technical Support, Software Maintenance and Upgrade The Marine Corps shall be responsible for transportation costs associated with shipping equipment to the Contractor. The Contractor shall be responsible for transportation costs associated with shipping equipment back to the Marine Corps. The Government will consider all responses from capable interested offerors, received by the closing date. All offers must be supported by information to enable the Government to evaluate an offers capability to repair these items without the Government providing technical data. All documentation shall become the property of the Government. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333314 and the small business size standard is 10 million dollars. Potential offerors having the skills, experience, professional qualifications, and capabilities necessary to perform the described requirement are invited to provide a capabilities statement via e-mail. The capability statements shall not exceed five (5) pages and must include the following: 1) Company name and Point of Contact information (address, telephone, e-mail, web-site, etc.); 2) DUNS number and CAGE code; and 3) Familiarity and product knowledge. The Government will use responses in this Sources Sought Notice to make appropriate acquisition decisions. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT REIMBURSE THE RESPONDENT FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PREPARING OR SUBMITTING A RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE. THE GOVERNMENT RECOGNIZES THAT PROPRIETARY DATA MAY BE A PART OF YOUR SUBMITTAL. IF SO, CLEARLY MARK SUCH RESTRICTED OR PROPRIETARY DATA AND PRESENT IT AS AN ADDENDUM TO THE NON-RESTRICTED/NONPROPRIETARY INFORMATION.
