- THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION INFORMATION ONLY This synopsis is to provide information for a construction contract for heat trace replacement at the Stewart L. Udall Building located at 1849 C. St, NW, Washington DC 20240. Acquisition Services Directorate (AQD) intends to solicit and award a Firm Fixed Price contract for the heat trace replacement work which includes, but is not limited to: ¿Provide detailed drawings/submittals for Government approval ¿Remove and dispose all components of the existing heat trace ¿Install a new heat trace system ¿Replace faulty piping if necessary Estimated magnitude is $25,000 - $100,000. NAICS code is 238210 (Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors), average annual receipts $15 Million. Solicitation number 140D0418R0038 applies. The solicitation, including any specifications and drawings, will be issued electronically only. Any amendments will also be issued electronically only. No paper or disk will be available. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after issue date on the Federal Business Opportunities website at the following internet address: https://www.fbo.gov/. Use Keyword/Solicitation Number 140D0418R0038 and hit SEARCH. The acquisition will be conducted as a Total Small Business Set-Aside IAW FAR Parts 15, 19 and 36. Any resultant contract will be Firm Fixed-Price. It is incumbent that any interested sources periodically access the internet site to obtain any amendments. Failure to obtain amendments and/or acknowledge amendments by the time set for receipt of bids may result in rejection of your proposal. All perspective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award of contract with any federal agency and can be found to be responsible in accordance with FAR subpart 9.1 - Responsibility of Prospective Contractors. Actual issue and due dates shall be as established in the solicitation. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or continue with this procurement.
