Description
Sources Sought Synopsis The purpose of this sources sought is to gain knowledge of the potential interested 8(a) program participants for construction projects on Fort Hood, Texas. This notice is for planning and informational purposes only and IS NOT a request for proposal. All interested parties should respond. It does not constitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. Responses in any form are not offers and the Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice. Any information submitted by respondents is strictly voluntary. CONTRACTOR RESPONSE/REQUIRED CAPABILITIES: It is requested that contractors respond to this sources sought notice with information in sufficient detail regarding their capabilities and capacity to satisfy the requirement for performing 8(a) small business construction projects. The scope shall provide all plant, supervision, labor, materials, equipment, supplies and transportation necessary to complete this scope of work. All work shall comply with all State, Local and Federal laws and regulations, industry and construction codes and standards, manufacturer's specifications and recommendations, and all contract special provisions, terms and conditions. The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining all required licenses and permits to perform construction work on a Federal installation, be properly bonded and insured in accordance with FAR requirements. Repairing architectural features to the interior and/or exterior of buildings located on Fort Hood to include mold and asbestos abatement, replacement of flooring, ceiling tiles, doors, door frames, painting of facilities, and cleaning of exterior facades at any location that is owned by the Fort Hood Reservation. General construction of projects include, but are not limited to, new construction, demolition, repair, alteration, and renovation of buildings, systems and infrastructure and may include civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, and communication systems. Types of facilities include administrative, industrial, maintenance, warehouses, hangars, communications, personnel support, recreation, lodging, dormitory, medical, training, ranges, roads, etc. in support of Fort Hood. Texas. These projects include a variety of NAICS Codes: 238110, 238120, 238130, 238140, 238150, 238160, 238170, 238190, 238210, 238220, 238290, 238310, 238320, 238330, 238340, 238350, 238390, 238910 and 238990. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ)/Invitation for Bid (IFB)/Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFQ, IFB or RFP in the future. This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for any supply or service. Further, the U.S. Government is not seeking quotes, bids or proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals in response to this sources sought notice. The U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice. Submittals will not be returned to the responder. Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future RFQ or IFB or RFP, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Government wide Point of Entry if a competitive 8(a) offering or offered as a direct award. It is the responsibility of potential offers to monitor the Government wide Point of Entry for additional information pertaining to this requirement.
