- Statement of Wrok Limited Source Justification The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), pursuant to Federal Acqusition Regulation (FAR) part 5.2, is providing public notification the DEA intends to negotiate a sole-source contract with EMS Technologies LLC for commercial preventative building automation system preventative maintenance, repair and analytical services in support of the DEA's Building Automation System (manufactured by Automated Logic). A more detailed description of the requirement is included in the attached Limited Sources Documentation and draft statement of work. In accordance with FAR part 13 (Simplified Acquisition Procedures), the government intends to issue a single firm-fixed-priced purchase order. The government has determined there is only one responsible source available who is authorized to provide the required services to the government owned system manufactured by Automated Logic and no other contractors can provide the services required to satisfy the agency requirements.The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238210 Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Contractors. A determination by the government not to open the requirement to competition is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available. The services required are for a one year period providing preventative maintenance, repair and system analysis for the DEA owned building automation system located in Quantico, Virginia. The period of performance shall be 1 July 2018 to 30 June 2019. The Government point of contact for all communication regarding this posting is Mr. Richard Thibeault, Contract Support Specialist. All communication regarding this posting shall be by e-mail and must be received not later than 2:00 pm, on 20 June 2018.
