Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The applicable solicitation number is 36C250-18-Q-9312 and it is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Ensure responses include this solicitation number. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-98. This procurement is a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set-aside IAW FAR 19.502-2(a). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 238220. For this procurement, the small business size standard is $15.0 Million. (5) Requirement: A. Contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, parts, material, tools, incidental engineering services, and transportation necessary to perform maintenance, overtime pay, weekend and holiday premium pay, repair, inspection, testing, of the chill water coil for the 2nd floor of bldg. 302. There are several leaks in the coil that are unrepairable. The coil needs replaced as soon as possible. This coil supplies cool air to the whole 2nd floor for patients and staff. This is an emergency requirement. If, and when, a deviation is required, only with the written consent of the VA may it be accomplished. B. Contractor, without additional expense to the Government, shall obtain all licenses, permits, and insurance required to perform the work in this Contract. Contractor shall comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws to include OSHA. Evidence of insurance, licenses, and permits shall be provided to the Contracting Officer s Representative (COR) before work commences. C.
