- NOTE: The original synopsis was released under solicitation number FA8520-18-R-0003. The updated solicitation number for this requirement is FA8520-18-Q-0002. This notice is updated to post the Request for Quotes (RFQ). The RFQ and all corresponding attachments is attached to this posting. All quotes shall be submitted no later than (NLT) 19 Jul 2018 by 4:00 PM EST. All questions shall be submitted NLT 3 Jul 2018 by 4:00 PM EST. Quotes and/or questions shall be submitted in writing via email or AMRDEC to Ms. Erica Lipford at erica.lipford@us.af.mil with Ms. Michelle Tran cc'd at thuylinh.trannguyen@us.af.mil. FA8520 ‐ 18 ‐ R ‐ 0003 THIS IS A PRE ‐ SOLICITATION NOTICE. ANTICIPATED RELEASE OF RFP IS 26 JANUARY 2018. THIS ACQUISTION APPROACH WILL BE A 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. THIS WILL BE A 5 YEAR FIRM ‐ FIXED PRICE REQUIREMENTS TYPE CONTRACT WITH A BASIC AND (4) ONE YEAR OPTION PERIODS FOR THE FOLLOWING: This requirement is for the procurement of the Bomb Rack Test Set. The Bomb Rack Test Set, NSN: 4933-01-049-7584, Part Number 7630933-10, general characteristics of this item are as follows. Drive Assembly, NSN: 1005 ‐ 00 ‐ 922 ‐ 4554, approximate length - 10.0000", approximate width - 14.0000", approximate height - 11.5000", approximate weight 19.50 LBS, item material ‐ Steel alloy. The Government's intent is to award the contract based on a source selection process which will evaluate lowest price technical acceptable. This is a small business set-aside. Offerors shall prepare their proposals in accordance with mandatory, explicit and detailed instructions contained in the Request for Proposals (RFP). The RFP will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities webpage (http://www.fbo.gov/). The technical data required to respond to the RFP may be obtained through a link that will be provided on the RFP posting on Federal Business Opportunities at the time the RFP is posted. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE PROVIDED. The basic production quantity for the Bomb Rack Test Set, NSN: 4933-01-049-7584 is 1 EA, Option One through four has a quantity of 1 EA. All questions regarding the RFP and/or the data packages must be submitted in writing to Erica.Lipford@us.af.mil. All pertinent information will be uploaded to the FBO site. However, the identity of the potential offeror will not be included. Offerors are encouraged to register to receive notification for solicitation and all amendments/revisions and to check the FEDBIZOPPS site prior to submission of proposal.
