Description

Intend to Award Sole Source to: R.W. Martin and Sons Inc. THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System, North Little Rock, AR Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16 intends to award a firm fixed price contract under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), only one source to: R.W. Martin and Sons Inc. 321 Parke Avenue Ken, OH 44240-2449 The objective of this sole source award is to acquire all materials, OEM components and parts needed to provide immediate support and repair/maintenance of the new assets within the Textile Care Plant in addition to all hoist, lifts and rail systems. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 333318; the small business size standard is 1,000 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes or solicitation for offers; however, responsible sources may submit a capability statement, technical data, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. All information received by 3:00PM central on June 25, 2018 may be considered by the Government. Responses shall be submitted to Sheila Reed, Contract Specialist at sheila.reed@va.gov. The email subject line shall state, CAVHS Sole Source Textile Care Plant Inventory. This acquisition is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures with a small business set-aside restriction. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any information submitted in response to this notice of intent is voluntary.
