Description

DECT Server 8000 Rack The Library of Congress (LOC) Ft. Meade facility provides additional storage capacity for the LoC and other legislative bodies. An Avaya Communication Manager phone system supports the building with both hardwired and wireless stations. An aging Spectralink 6300 series system interfaces the existing phone lines with the wireless handsets. It is the desire of the LoC to update and integrate this facility to the same newer Spectralink DECT- 8000 version deployed at the LoC's Cabin Branch location The contractor shall provide, installation and configuration of the Wireless DECT phone system and (associated wiring) with 12 DECT handheld stations with coverage for five (250' X 225') warehouse areas with 40' ceilings at the Ft. Meade Facility. It is recommended that prospective vendors conduct an onsite visit of both facilities to gather an operational survey and make measurements.
