Q&AsRev2 ***Purpose of this action is to correct the response date on this notice to reflect the proposal due date on the front page of the solicitation (25 Jun 2018) and to attach Q&As Rev 2*** This is a Bridge requirement for the A10 Windshield Canopy Bow with a strict timeline and firm required delivery schedules in order to support mission readiness of the A10 Aircraft. RESTRICTED TO PRE QUALIIFED SOURCE(S): A Source Approval Request (SAR) is required from all other interesed contractors. Per the standards specified in the Manufacturing Qualification Requirements (MQR), the offer AND any Casting sub-vendor that they may employ in the manufacturing of this requirement shall prepare a SAR for the government engineer's review and approval. Please be aware of the new OSHA Direct Final Rule that reduced the permissible exposure limit for beryllium and beryllium compounds for General Industry and other changes. https://www.osha.gov/news/newsreleases/trade/05042018. Award will only be made to an approved Qualified Source AND an approved Qualified Casting Sub-vendor. See Clause 52.209-1 in the solicitation and the MQR package attached for qualification information. In accordance with FAR 9.202(e) the Government reserves the right not to delay contract award. See attached Section L Instructions, Conditions, and Notices of Offerors and Section M Evaluation Factors for Award. As stated in Sections L&M, Offerors are required to meet all solicitation requirements, such as terms and conditions that include the Government's required delivery schedules (Production delivery to start no later than April 2019), and representations and certifications. Offerors that cannot meet the Government's required delivery schedules will be considered non-responsive. EXPORT CONTROLLED SURPLUS NOT ALLOWED FOR THIS REQUIREMENT
