Description

Sole Source Justification Notice of Intent to Sole Source The Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS&IMF), Bremerton Washington, intends to solicit and negotiate a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed-Price Purchase Order with FRHAM Safety Products, Inc. The procurement is Radcon, WetSuit. This is a FAR 13 single source procurement and will be justified under the authority of Other Than Full and Open Competition in FAR 13.106(b)(1)(i). Only one responsible sources and no other requirement will satisfy the needs of the Government. FRHAM Safety Products, Inc. is the only company approved by NAVSEA that can meet the specifications of this requirement for the mission required as cited in the NAVSEA Command letter dated 26 June 2017 Serial 08R/17-02823. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 313310. This will be the only notice of the Government's intent to solicit, negotiate, and award to one source to satisfy this requirement. The Government plans to award a contract for this requirement on July 2018. This notice satisfies the requirement at FAR 5.102(a)(6), to publicize the proposed contract action. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be made available. Any responses received will only be considered for the purposes of determining the market place for future procurements. The Government will not pay for information submitted. This will be the only notice of the Government's intent to solicit, negotiate, and award to one source to satisfy this requirement.
