- Experience Questionnaire Wage Determination Twain West Map 2 of 3 Twain West Map 1 of 3 Twain West Vicinity Map Appendix C Appendix B Appendix A 129JGP18R0073 - Twain West IRSC The solicitation and any resultant contract will be a stewardship project in accordance with Section 323 of Public Law 108-7 (16 U.S.C. 2104 Note, as revised February 28, 2003 to reflect sec. 323 of J.J. Res 2 as enrolled), the Consolidated Appropriations Resolution, 2003, amending Public Law 105-277 sec 347. This project is being advertised for full and open competition. This acquisition has been tailored to fit the Governments need for trading goods for services. The Twain West Stewardship Project is located on the Mt. Hough Ranger District, Plumas National Forest. The project area of 247.2 acres includes commercial thinning payment units, comprised of machine cut and skid of biomass to landings; chip and remove biomass; and road maintenance. The project also includes removal of approximately 1,960.69 CCF of sawtimber and 2,063.09 CCF of non-sawtimber combined softwood products. Project Location - The Twain West Stewardship Contract Area is located approximately five miles northwest of the community of Quincy and two mile southeast of the community of Twain, with CA 70 to the north and east, in Plumas County, California; within the Mt. Hough Ranger District of the Plumas National Forest. Contract area encompasses all or portions of T25N R9E Sections 19 and 30, and T25N R8E Sections 24-26, 35, and 36, MDBM. The solicitation package will be uploaded approximately June 18th, 2018. The date of award is expected to be within 60 days after the actual response date, which will be stated in the package and is subject to change with amendments to the solicitation. The contractors are encouraged to visit the site prior to the response date. A prebid meeting on site will be heald on June 28, 2018. The meeting location will be a the Mt. Hough RD in Quincy CA at 10:00 am. Please hold any technical questions until after review of the solicitation. The technical contact information will be listed in the solicitation. The purpose of this notice is to meet the FAR 5.201. It is the contractor's responsibility to monitor the Federal Business Opportunities website for amendments.
