Description

Digital Press Synopsis It is the FAC2B organization's intent to establish a single award for the lease and maintenance of two Color Imaging Presses and a UV Coater for the agency. The Color Imaging Presses will replace the existing Kodak Nexpress 2100 and Kodak Nexpress 2500, Kodak Glossing Unit, 5-Color Heidelberg MOF-H, 6-Color Heidelberg MOS-H, and 2-Kodak Magnus 400-III which are nearing end of life cycle. The anticipated Digital Press Lease and Maintenance Contract will provide a single Contractor with the ability to remove current equipment for trade-in, install the leased equipment and provide necessary maintenance on said equipment in a print operation production environment. The process for Digital Press installation requires Government personnel and the Contractor to coordinate for acquisition, delivery, installation, and trade-in service(s) in compliance with the SOW. This is a new requirement.
