This Sources Sought Notice is for market research and planning purposes only and shall not be construed or constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ)/Invitation for Bid (IFB)/Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFQ, IFB or RFP in the future or an obligation on the part of MICC-418th CSB. The purpose of this notice is to identify potential sources that may be interested in and capable of performing the work described herein. This notice does not commit the MICC-418th CSB to contract for any supply or service. 3. MICC-418th CSB will not respond to questions received from industry at this time. Further, the MICC-418th CSB is not seeking quotes, bids or proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals in response to this sources sought notice. The MICC-418th CSB will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice. Submittals will not be returned to the responder. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. However, if a competitive solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Governmentwide Point of Entry. It is the responsibility of potential offerors to monitor the Governmentwide Point of Entry for additional information pertaining to this requirement. The information obtained from this notice will be utilized as market research for consideration in acquisition planning for this requirement. Interested sources shall provide all feedback via email to the Point of Contact (POC) listed below no later than 8:00 AM Central Standard Time (CST), on 27 June 2018. 4. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this requirement is 511130 "Book Publishers" with a size standard of 1,000 employees. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability to provide these requirements, then you must respond by demonstrating your firm's technical capability to meet these requirements. In order to protect proprietary information and prevent the unintentional releasing of guarded information all interested firms must conduct their own research regarding the specifications of the above listed requirement. The capability statements shall not exceed two (2) pages and must include the following: a. Company Name; Company Address; and POC name, phone number, and e-mail address b. DUNS and CAGE code c. Company Business Size/ Small business certification, if applicable (i.e., 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB) d. If this requirement was procured under a small business set-aside, can the company comply with the non-manufacturer rule defined in Section 8(a)(17) and 46 of the Small Business Act, 15 U.S.C 637(a)(17) and 657? e. Are there any restrictions in fulfilling the requirement as a whole? f. These books may be required in quantities from 10 to 450 and delivered at multiple locations. Are there volume discounts available? Are there potential issues with delivery or quantity availability?
