Description

Pursuant to FAR 5.201, this announcement is a synopsis of Army Contracting Command-Warren's (ACC-WRN's) intent to award a sole source contract pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 to Oshkosh Defense LLC, 2307 OREGON STREET OSHKOSH, WI 54902-7062, for the procurement of the following: HET M1070P1 Armor C Kits 4ea NSN: 2540-01-604-2617 / PN: 4032110 which consists of the following sub-kits: Description Part Number Spring & Wheel Kit 3867742 Combat Lock Kit LH 4026640 Combat Lock Kit RH 4026641 Spare Tire & Mounting Kit 4038311 Underbody Armor Kit 4038403 This action also procures the following items: Description QTY. Part Number Template Kit 4ea 4052083 Deflector Frame and Cab Plates 2ea 4027020 HET M1070P1 Armor C Kits and Template Kits shall be delivered to the Red River Army Depot in Texarkana, TX. The Deflector Frame and Cab Plates shall be delivered to Sierra Army Depot in Herlong, CA. All items for this procurement shall be delivered by 30 APR 2019. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 336992. The inspection/acceptance is Origin and FOB points are Destination. In accordance with the authority of FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." Oshkosh Defense is the only known qualified source for this procurement as the Government does not currently have a competitive Technical Data Package (TDP), which is required for production of items. Although it is the Government's intent to solicit and negotiate with only one source as authorized by FAR 6.302-1, Oshkosh Defense LLC (Cage Code 75Q65), all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. This is a pre-solicitation notice, otherwise known as a synopsis. The solicitation pertaining to this notice will not be available for a minimum of 15 days from the date of this notice. Contractors should not call the buyer or procuring contracting officer seeking a copy of the solicitation (or other data) as none will be available until the solicitation is issued. No hard copies of the solicitation will be issued. Set-aside Status: N/A
