Description

The West Palm Beach VA Medical Center, located at 7305 N. Military Trail in West Palm Beach, FL 33410-6400, intends to release Solicitation 36C-18-Q-9188 for the purchase of Five-year Platinum Plus Warranty and annual Preventive-Maintenance (PM) services for seven (7) Caterpillar stand-by generators that are used to power the facility during any power losses. The contractor shall provide services for the generator equipment covered including four (4) units that are 700 KVA Caterpillar Generators 3 phase 480/277v and associated Caterpillar diesel engine model 3508, and three (3) units that are 2500 KVA Caterpillar Generators 3 phase 13,200v and associated Caterpillar diesel engine model 3516. The contractor shall provide a Caterpillar factory trained and authorized technician to perform all services in accordance with all Caterpillar Manufacturers Specifications and provide all Caterpillar specified replacement parts and fluids. Services must include all necessary labor, materials, tools, equipment, testers, meters, calibration, safety equipment, and supervision All other contract details including full specifications will be included in the Request for Quotes, which is to be electronically issued, in commercial item format, in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13 on or about June 28, 2018. The close date will be on or about July 13, 2018. Any future amendments and other miscellaneous documents will be available electronically for download at the following URL: http://www.fedbizopps.gov.
