- PROJECT TITLE: JECA_Administrative History THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY!!! The National Park Service, Midwest Region Major Acquisition Buying Office (MABO), intends to issue a solicitation for an Administrative History at Jewel Cave National Monument. The solicitation documents will be issued on or about July 09, 2018 and will be posted on Federal Business Opportunities (https://www.fbo.gov). This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. In order to be awarded a contract an offeror must have a DUNS number, be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM), http://www.sam.gov, and have completed their Online Representations and Certifications. The work consists of providing the first Administrative History of Jewel Cave National Monument, documenting its conception, authorization, and the major issues that have shaped the past and current management philosophies. This document will describe how Jewel Cave National Monument was conceived and established, its NPS development and operational history, and how it has been managed by NPS to the present day. Jewel Cave was the first National Monument established for the protection of a cave. THIS PROCUREMENT IS 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. Type of Contract: One (1) Firm-Fixed Price Contract will be awarded on a best value basis. NAICS CODE: 541720 (Research and Development in the Social Sciences and Humanities).
