Description

Justification for use of other than full and open competition for FAR Part 13, Acquisition Under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold. Statement of Work (SOW) for the Rebuild of the Scout Sniper Medium Range Night Sight (SSMRNS)AN/PVS-27. Description: The Marine Corps Logistics Command (MCLC) Albany, GA Contracts Department (S1930) intends to solicit and award a contract on a sole-source basis to FLIR Surveillance, Inc. for the commercial services described below. No other manufacturer is approved to perform the required services. The Government does not possess the specifications, sufficient data, expertise or access to the necessary parts required to rebuild the Sights (see attached Justification). Any source demonstrating their capability to perform this service may be considered for any future requirements. Contact the person(s) above to respond to this notice. No request for quotation will be posted on this website for the requirement. (1) National Stock Number - 5855-01-547-9489 (2) Specification / Qualification - See attached Statement of Work CLIN 0001 Rebuild Scout Sniper Mid-Range Night Sight, Flir P/N 55837, Indefinite Quantity (minimum 2 maximum 20). One year Base Period of Performance. CLIN 1001 Optional one year Period of Performance. CLIN 2001 Optional one year Period of Performance. (3 ) Manufacturer - FRIR Surveillance, Inc. (Cage Code 3UVR3) (4) Destination information - Marine Corp Logistics Command, Albany Georgia 31704. (5) Award Procedures - The Government will solicit and award a Firm-Fixed-Price contract for a commercial services with an estimated total under the simplified acquisition threshold. The anticipated award date is 30 July 2018.
