This combined synopsis solicitation is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-98 (5-31-2018). The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 339115 with a small business size standard of 1000 employees. Sonomed is the referenced manufacturer, brand name or equal. The RFQ Number is 36C25618Q9572. The combined synopsis solicitation is: 100% Set-Aside for Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB). The Department of Veterans Affairs, Overton Brooks VA Medical Center, 510 E Stoner Avenue, Shreveport, LA 71101 is seeking to purchase a Sonomed VuPad brand name or equal portable ultrasound biometric ruler for use in Ophthalmic applications. Evaluation Procedures: Comparative evaluation of quotations will be made in accordance with FAR 13.106-2(b)(3), which means evaluating one quote with another in a uniform and fair manner.
