Description
The following Question and Answers have been added: 1. Can you please provide historical data for this contract, such as the number of trips annually for the patient shuttle? Answer: • This is not a patient shuttle contract • The total number of trips averages around 10,000 per year. 2. Are there any further details about the proposal submittal such as submitting additional copies of our proposal, or does the NIH require just one original sealed proposal? Answer: If the proposals are going to be mailed or hand carried in I will need 5 copies. 3. Is this solely a patient shuttle contract, with no employee shuttle included? Answer: • This is not a patient shuttle contract 4. Would the NIH be open to utilizing rideshare (such as Lyft) for on-demand and scheduled ambulatory transports? Answer: • We don't think that Lyft would be able to comply with all the requirements outlined in the statement of work. If you think you are able to respond to all the requirements using Lyft services, you can definitely submit a proposal. 5. What is the estimated monthly transportation volume? Answer: • The total number of trips averages around 10,000 per year. The monthly volume varies and can range from 450 - 700 per month. 6. What is the estimated breakdown of the monthly transport volume for ambulatory rides and wheelchair van rides? Answer: • We do not keep statistics on the number of transports that require a wheelchair accessible ride. 7. Is there an estimated quantity of pick-ups of what's wheelchair or hired car Answer: • We do not keep statistics on the number of transports that require a wheelchair accessible car. • The total number of trips averages around 10,000 per year. 8. Is there a current incumbent performing the services now? Answer: • Yes, we have two contractors performing this service now.
