- SOURCES SOUGHT ***This is a request for interested parties only, this is NOT a request for proposals*** The General Services Administration is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in the requirement below The U.S General Services Administration, Great Lakes Region, is issuing a Sources Sought Announcement for a courtyard sidewalk and handrail project at the Hart-Dole-Inouye Federal Center, Building 1B. The work requires all management, supervision, manpower, equipment and supplies necessary to install new guardrails around the existing courtyard, remove and replace the existing sidewalk and waterproofing around the courtyard, replace the concrete ramp and handrails at Exit 7, replace the handrails at the stairs from Exit 8, demolish and place new steps and railings at two locations for building 1B. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. The government will evaluate market information to ascertain potential market capacity to provide services consistent in scope and scale with those described in this notice and otherwise anticipated. BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/MARKET RESEARCH, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES OR PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions. Those wishing to identify their capability to provide the aforementioned services should respond to this announcement via email to matthew.deleonardis@gsa.gov with a carbon copy (CC) to della.ljungkull@gsa.gov no later than June 28 2018 at 12:00 PM (Central Standard Time). Interested parties should provide the following: Company Name, Company Address, Point of Contact, phone number and email address, DUNS number and capability statement for the services as stated above. Additionally include : three customer references to which you have provided similar services, and your company business size pursuant to the following questions: (1) Is your business large or small, (2) If small, does your firm qualify as a small, emerging business or small disadvantaged business? (3) If disadvantaged, specify under which disadvantaged group and if your firm is certified under Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act, (4) Is your firm a certified Hubzone firm? (5) Is your firm woman-owned or operated business? (6) Is your firm a certified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small or Veteran Owned Small Business?
