- Description
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Center for Environmental Health intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price maintenance agreement (Base Year and four 12 month Option Years) to California Advanced Labeling, Inc. 46750 Fremont Blvd, Suite 106 Fremont, CA 94538. This contract is for the government-owned equipment maintenance/service of the TubeWriter360 system located in the Division of Laboratory Sciences (DLS). The statutory authority for this sole source acquisition is U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. The NAICS code for this procurement is 334118 Computer Terminal and Other Computer Peripheral Equipment Manufacturing with size standard of 1,000 employees. This sole source acquisition is required because California Advanced Labeling is the only company able to provide field service for the TubeWriter 360 System and other related existing Government-owned equipment. The contractor shall provide and perform preventative maintenance support for the TubeWriter system, equipment scheduled services include Equipment Maintenance; Preventative/Corrective Maintenance; Repair and Service; installation, training, and consultation services. The contractor shall also provide telephone support, on-site repairs by qualified engineers, priority response time, and coverage of all original parts and site visits to CDC. On-site repairs or "Sitework" shall include without limitation, field commissioning, installation, training, or technical support. No solicitation will be posted to FedBizOpps. This notice of intent is not a request for quote. A determination by the government not to compete the proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. Interested parties who believe they possess the capability to satisfy this requirement should submit a capability statement demonstrating their ability to meet the requirement. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
