- The MSPV-NG program provides VA medical centers with medical, surgical and dental supplies for veterans healthcare. In April 2018, a Justification and Notification (J&A) was published by the VA SAC to change the MSPV-NG contracts with prime vendors from distribution to distribution and supply contracts to increase the number of Catalog items from 7,800 to approximately 80,000 items. The MSPV Prime Vendors will begin sourcing activities for a grouping of approximately 6,800 items next week. A spreadsheet specifying the exact items to be added, manufacturer information and usage data is attached to this RFI. The SAC is requesting contact information from the small business community for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), Small Disadvantaged Businesses, Woman-Owned Small Businesses (WOSB), and other Small Businesses that are authorized distributors for the Medical/Surgical products specified. This contact information will be supplied to our Prime Vendors to assist them in meeting their socioeconomic subcontracting goals. NOTE: There will not be a SAC solicitation issued for these items. The items will be sourced by the MSPV Prime Vendors only. Interested authorized distributors for any these items will respond via email to VACOSACMSPVRFI@VA.GOV and include the following information: --Company POC information including email address and phone number --The spreadsheet attached to this notice, with available items highlighted in yellow --A 1-2 page capability statement and identification of socio-economic category To provide maximum utility for this round of sourcing, responses should be emailed to the VACOSACMSPVRFI@VA.GOV address by 6/29/2018. Questions regarding this RFI or the MSPV Program in general may be forwarded to the email box at any time. In addition, on Thursday June 28th the Coalition for Government Procurement will be hosting an MSPV update webinar from 12 noon-1:30 pm.
