- Description
- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District requires a contract to provide construction of MR-00001-7R, Hangar 722 Dehumidification at Fort Bragg, Cumberland County, North Carolina. The work will consist of miscellaneous improvements to the hangar area of the building to include, but not limited to, demolition of the hangar doors and replacement with new structural steel framing and new overhead coiling doors, installation of new foam insulation on the interior hangar walls and ceiling, replacement of pedestrian doors, painting, with optional items to prepare the surface, re-paint, and warranty the entire exterior hangar metal siding and metal roof panels at eye-brow roof facing the flight line (main roof excluded), demolition of existing U-tube gas fired heaters, steam heaters, steam condensate and gas piping, with associated thermostats, valves, and related appurtenances; demolition of existing electrical items associated with demolished HVAC, new power for the new overhead coiling door systems. Fire protection work consisting of selective demolition and capping of two existing floor pedestals. Antiterrorism/Force protection measures and sustainment mandates will be incorporated. The contract issued will be Firm Fixed Price. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction and the size standard is $36,500,000.00. The Magnitude of Construction of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Network analysis will be required. This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on or about 06 July 2018. The proposal due date will be specified in the solicitation when it is issued. No additional media (CD-ROM, floppy disks, faxes, etc) will be provided. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. Other methods of requesting a package will not be honored. This solicitation is a 100% Woman-Owned Small Business Set-aside. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible to receive an award from any Government solicitation.
