- Pre-Solicitation Notice -Replace Generator at Air Traffic Control Tower, Building 1748 and Operations Building 1746 Department of the Air Force, Air Force Space Command, 30 CONS, 1515 Iceland Ave, Room 150, Vandenberg AFB, CA 93437-5212 The Air Force intends to issue a solicitation, Request for Proposal Number FA4610-18-R-0019 Replace the Generator at the Air Traffic Control Tower and Operations Building on Vandenberg AFB, California, on or about 09 July 2018. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, supplies, and materials to replace the existing generator with auto-transfer switch to instantly restore power to the Air Traffic Control Tower bldg. 1748 and airfield operations bldg. 1748 and airfield lighting on Vandenberg AFB. The Award is contemplated as a total small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 238210 and the size standard is $15M. This acquisition will be procured pursuant to the requirements in FAR Part 15 Contracting by Negotiation and FAR part 36 Construction and Architect - Engineer Contracts. All potential offerors are reminded that in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.204-7, System for Award Management (SAM), lack of registration in the SAM will make an offeror ineligible for contract award.
