6150-016182766, CABLE ASSEMBLY,SPEC, 55N FOB ORIGIN, DESTINATION INSPECTION QUANTITY: 5 REQUIRED DELIVERY: 899 DAYS This NSN is not a critical safety item and is not commercial. SOURCES: BOEING COMPANY, THE DBA BOEING 76301 P/N 68D150026-1001 DLA Aviation does not have an approved technical data package or drawings available for this item. It is anticipated that an award will be made against one of the OEM's Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) and a letter solicitation will be utilized; however, a copy of the solicitation may be prepared and made available upon a valid request submitted prior to the issue date. In order to receive an award, regardless of dollar value, you must be registered in Systems Award Management (SAM). The SAM registration address is https://www.sam.gov Currently Boeing is the only DLA approved source/sole source. Alternate offerors must submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) package in order to be considered for award possibly for future procurements if approved. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The solicitation issue date is on or about July 8, 2018; In accordance with 10 U. S. C. 2304 (c) (1), other than full and open competition applies. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within thirty days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service or the manufacturer meets qualification requirement at time of award, in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1 or 52.209-2.
