Description

FBO Solicitation This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation announcement for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Solicitation number 128KAP18P0020 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-93 corrections. North American Classification Coded (NAICS) 327215, Glass Product Manufacturing Made of Purchased Glass 1,000, is applicable. The Vendor shall provide Septa compatible with 12mL EXETAINER soda glass vials and reusable screw on plastic caps. Septa must be resistant to permeation or leakage due to gas sampling. Septa must be made from non-reactive Chlorobutyl Rubber to maintain continuity of testing from gas samples over the past several decades. Size must be: 13mm x 3.5mm. The estimated need is approximately 30,000 septa every year. An additional 4,000 septa will be delivered at the same time for the WMSRU unit. Delivery will be to the same address and the SMSBRU unit will be responsible for disbursing to the 2nd unit. Delivery location is: U. S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service USDA-ARS-NPA SMSBRU, 2501 Centre Avenue, Building D, Suite 100, CO, 80526 The Government anticipates award of a firm fixed price contract on June 2, 2018. As authorized by FAR 5.102, solicitation dissemination is limited to electronic medium, and the USDA/ARS will provide no hard copies. The successful company must mandatorily be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) at web site: www.sam.gov. Address ALL questions in WRITING to the issuing office via email to Shannon.Colgan@ars.usda.gov. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. PAYMENT: Any award made under this solicitation is subject to 31 CFR Part 208 which requires all payments made by the government to be made by electronic funds transfer. All sources wishing to provide a quotation must respond by 1500MST, June 29, 2018.
