- The work consist of replacing two culverts that cross under the Farrenburg Levee. Also, as part of this work, the stretches of levee that are located within the construction easements for each of the culvert sites shall have their levee sections that are below the design grade elevation for the Farrenburg Levee of 309.0' raised to this elevation. Cofferdams will also be constructed at each of the culvert sites in order to provide flood protection during the culverts replacement work. A borrow site will be required. This project will be advertised as a Woman Owned Small Business Set-Aside using sealed bid procedures. The assigned NAICS Code is 237990. For the purpose of this procurement to qualify as a small business concern, in addition to being independently owned and operated and not dominate in the field of operation in which it is bidding on Government contracts, the concern must have had average annual sales receipts for the preceding three fiscal years not exceeding $36.5 million. The estimated value of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Solicitation will be issued on/about 17 July 2018 and bid opening date will be on/about 16 August 2018. The resulting contract award will be a Firm-Fixed Price Contract. The Solicitation Number will be W912EQ-18-B-0004. A copy of this solicitation may be downloaded from the Federal Business Opportunities Web Site at www.fbo.gov.
