Description

JOFOC This is a notice of intent to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304c)(1)- FAR 6.302-1(b)(2)- Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to JWC Environmental, LLC. The scope of the requirement is to replace the auger monster (Muffin Monster) unit inside an already existant system. The location is at the United State Penitentiary Canaan, Waymart PA. JWC Environmental is the manufacturer of this product and the only company authorized to handle the replacement parts. The requirement will be awarded by the Federal Bureau of Prisons and implemented at USP Canaan. The NAICS code for this requirement is 221320. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. A request for Quote (RFQ) will not be available for this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated equipment can provide supporting documentation for their products capability and specifications by June 28th, 2018 by 12:00pm.
