Description

This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought synopsis only. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (hubzone, 8(a), small, small disadvantaged, service disabled veteran owned small business, or veteran owned small business) relative to NAICS 621399, Size Standard $7.5 Million. Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of responses to this sources sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement may be published on the FedBizOpps website. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation announcement separately, in addition to responding to this sources sought announcement. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 17, is seeking potential contractors to provide Neuromonitoring Equipment/Technician Services. Neuromonitoring Equipment/ Technician Services will be funded and managed by the Department of Veterans Affairs, North Texas Veterans Health Care System (VANTHCS) Dallas VA Medical Center, 4500 South Lancaster Road, Dallas, TX 75216. The contractor shall furnish all equipment/personnel necessary to perform onsite Neuromonitoring Equipment/Technologist Services to eligible beneficiaries of VANTHCS. Description of Services: The Contractor shall provide intraoperative, preoperative, postoperative neurophysiologic monitoring services and evoked potential testing for neurosurgery patients. Services shall be conducted in the operating room and associated areas of the Dallas VA Medical Center on a per case basis. The Contractor shall provide the equipment and services in a manner consistent with the standards of the Joint Commission for Accreditation of Healthcare Organization (JC) requirements for this type of equipment and services. Certification: Contractor Technologists shall be Certified Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM) Technologists. The intended contract period shall be for a one-year base period and four optional one-year periods. The contract effective period is anticipated to begin on or about October 1, 2018. Interested parties capable of providing the required services please provide the following information in your response: company name, address, point of contact (Name, Phone Number and e-Mail address), size of the business (large, small) and socio-economic status (Service Disabled Veteran, Veteran, Women or Disadvantaged owned business). All vendors/contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management www.sam.gov to be eligible for any government contract. All VOSBs, including SDVOSBs, must be verified in the VetBiz.gov Vendor Information Pages (VIP) database, available at www.VetBiz.gov, to be eligible for any government contract. Responses to this notice shall be e-mailed to the attention of Sandy Archuleta, Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 17, Sandra.Archuleta@va.gov. Telephone, mail or fax responses will not be accepted. Responses must be received no later than July 13, 2018 at 4:30 PM CST. This notice is to assist the VA in determining sources only. The solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued it will be announced at a later date and all interested vendors must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. Responses to this sources sought is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation.
