Description
This procurement is for NSN: 4910-01-601-4329, Maintenance Kit used mainly on the Heavy Expended Mobility Tactical (HEMMT) vehicle. The kit mainly consists of filters, gaskets, seals, pads, valves, nuts and bolts, etc. Subject NSN is being procured in accordance with (IAW) approved manufacturers Code and Part Number (AMSC/AMC: 1C). Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. Current Approved Sources: Oshkosh Defense (75Q65)(P/N: 4121314), and Brighton Cromwell (3NNX8)(P/N: BCAFK621-1). This requirement is an acquisition for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract (IDIQ) utilizing FAR Part 12 procedures for one NSN. The estimated Annual Demand Quantity is 5519. Unit of Issue: Each. Quantity ranges and delivery schedule will be noted on the RFP. FOB: Origin. Inspection and Acceptance: Destination. The term will be a three-year base period with two, one-year options to be exercised at the discretion of the Government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed five years. Based upon Market Research, the Government is using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and delivery. The proposed contract is not set-aside for small business concerns. The appropriate NAICS code is 336992 with a size standard of 1500 employees. In accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(c) Other than Full and open competition applies. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. Dollars. The solicitation will be available approximately 7/18/2018 at https://dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp. Hard copies are not available. Anticipated Award Date: Nov 2018.
