- Wage Determination Maps Solicitation **THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE. NO OTHER INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE UNTIL THE SOLICITATION IS ISSUED ON OR ABOUT THE DATE IDENTIFIED BELOW. Solicitation Documents: The solicitation will be issued as a Commercial Item/Request for Quote (RFQ) requiring both price and technical responses to evaluation criteria described in the solicitation. Documents will only be available electronically to download from this website on or about June 28, 2018 Description: The scope of this contract is to secure services for timber stand improvement and fuels reduction using hand cut and pile and/or mastication of up to 646 acres of mixed timber and plantations on the Mendocino National Forest. Unless otherwise provided, the Contractor will furnish all labor, transportation, equipment, tools, supervision, materials and any necessary incidentals to accomplish work on this project. Location: The project area is located at the Grindstone Ranger District on the Mendocino National Forest in Tehama County, CA. Contract Time: From Date of Award through 12/31/2019 Estimated Start Date: August 1, 2018 Set-Aside: This project is 100% set aside for Small Business. Response Location: Offers will be accepted at the Northern California Acquisition Service Area, Redding Office, located within the Shasta-Trinity National Forest Headquarters at 3644 Avtech Parkway, Redding, CA 96002 NO LATER than time and date indicated on solicitation. SAM REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS: Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award. SAM.gov registration is FREE! There is NO FEE to register or maintain their SAM.gov registration Vendors do have the ability to use the services at their local Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC).
