- Justification and Approval_Brand Name Statement of Work, dated June 2018 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement serves as the solicitation; therefore, quotes are being requested at this time. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334111 with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees. This requirement is a small business set-aside and only qualified authorized Apple dealers may submit bids. The solicitation will close on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 4:00 p.m., Central Time or as otherwise noted in future amendments to this combined synopsis/solicitation. The request for quote (RFQ) number is iPADS2018, and is for Brand Name Only authorized Apple items unless otherwise noted in the attached Statement of Work (SOW), (Attachment 1). The General Services Administration (GSA) Public Buildings Service (PBS) Acquisition Operations Division (7PQA) has a requirement for Apple iPads and accessories. This notice is being issued with an attached Justification and Authorization (Attachment 2) document that justifies the need for the specific iPad brand name. Per the SOW, the following items are required: Quantity - Product Description 35 - iPad Pro 12.9 inch Wi-Fi only 256GB (MP6G2LL/A) 35 - Apple care + iPad warranty, 2 years 35 - Car chargers with lightening connector-Power Jolt - (GC39939) - Like or Similar to the referenced model number 35 - Apple Pencil for iPad Pro - (Mk0C2AM/A) 19 - Apple Smart Keyboard for 12.9 inch iPad Pro - (U.S. English MJYR2LL/A) 20 - Logitech Slim Combo Keyboard case for 12.9 inch iPad Pro - (PN: 920-008364) - Like or similar to the reference model number; however, any substitute shall have a magnetic auto on/off feature for the built in Bluetooth. The keyboard is powered by the iPad battery, and when the cover is closed the keyboard shall be off. ***Question and Answers Submission: Interested offerors must submit any questions concerning the solicitation at the earliest time possible to enable the Buyer to respond. Questions must be submitted via email to the Contract Specialist, LaTorie M. Bivins, at latorie.bivins@gsa.gov and the Contracting Officer, Elizabeth Crawford, at elizabeth.crawford@gsa.gov. Questions shall be received no later than noon Central Time, Monday, July 2, 2018. Questions not received before the questions and answers closing date may not be considered.*** The items shall be shipped Free On Board (FOB) Destination and delivered to the General Services Administration, 819 Taylor Street, 11th floor, cubicle 244, Fort Worth, Texas 76102. Attention: Travis Martin. When shipped, the authorized Apple supplier shall include in their invoice the serial number for each item shipped. Delivery date: On or before July 31, 2018. Offerors shall provide the information required in this combines synopsis/solicitation. Quotes will be evaluated based on technical compliance to the Government's requirements found in the SOW, past performance, and price. Award will be made to the responsible offeror submitting the lowest priced, technically acceptable quote. All quotes shall include Item, Part Number, Description of the Item, Price, and Shipping cost. Also, please ensure that your quote reference the company's point of contact information, cage code, and DUNS number. In order to be considered for a federal contract, all companies must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to submission of an offer. This may be accomplished electronically at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM. This will be an all or nothing award to a technically acceptable, lowest price, small business.
