- Solicitation and SOW *No proposal was technically acceptable. Therefore, going back out with a revise requirement. * The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) in Washington, DC has a requirement for a facility that will provide lodging, on-site conference rooms for the symposium and on-site dining for our annual Washington Leadership Symposium. Students will arrive in Washington, DC on July 30, 2018 and depart August 3, 2018. The facility needs to be able to accommodate 2 students per room. Facility must be within 7 miles from 1400 Independence Ave., SW Washington DC 20250-0304 and the facility must be metro accessible-5-minute walk. To be eligible, the hotel facility MUST be listed, be FEMA approved and listed on the U.S. Fire Administration Hotel and Motel National Master List found at (www.usfa.fema.gov/hotel/search.cfm). In addition, the hotel facility must be compliant with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (Public Law 101-336) (42 U.S.C 12101et. Seq. Quotes shall be submitted in two (2) separate parts entitled "Technical Proposal" and "Price Proposal". The total number of pages for the technical proposal shall not exceed fifteen (15) pages. No faxed proposals will be accepted. All proposals shall be submitted electronically, via email to Sabrina.Brown@ars.usda.gov NLT 4:00 pm EST Thursday, July 5, 2018. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 721110-Hotels (Except Casino Hotels) and Motels. Any firm that believes it can provide the services stated above must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Questions shall be submitted by email to Sabrina.Brown@ars.usda.gov not later than noon EST Tuesday, July 3, 2018. Responses to questions will be provided by 4:00 pm EST, July 3, 2018. The Government intends to make an award based on the lowest price technically acceptable.
