- Special Notice - Data Hosting Synopsis: This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only request for information and a written competitive solicitation will not be issued. This special notice is to inform the vendor community of DOL's proposed contract action. The Department of Labor (DOL) intends to award a sole source contract to ByteGrid based on FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) to provide data hosting capabilities into existing operations for DOL acquired through a sole source contract vehicle. DOL requires the following supply/service: 0001- Data hosting (FFP) The period of performance is 12 Months with 4 12 month option periods. This action will result in a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The NAICS code for this requirement is 541519 with a size standard of $25M. This Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract. It is not a request for competitive proposals. There is no solicitation document. No RFQ will be available for competitive proposals. Responses shall be submitted electronically to Michael D. Jackson at Jackson.michael.d@dol.gov no later than 11 AM (Eastern Standard Time) on July13, 2018.
