- TITLE: 65- AMENDMENT TO NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE SOL: 36C24218Q9545 DUE: 07/06/2018 SET ASIDE: N/A NAICS: 339112 POP STATE: Not specified AGENCY: VA Hudson Valley Healthcare System Montrose & Castle Point Campuses; 2094 Albany Post Road, Montrose, NY 10548; 41 Castle Point Road, Wappinger Falls, NY 12590 POC: Aleta Jennette Aleta.Jennette@va.gov mailto:aleta.jennette@va.gov DESCRIPTION: Amendment to NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT TO, Carefusion Solutions, LLC, for CareFusion Pyxis Enterprise Server Med stations Drawers & ES Link server Licenses. These Drawers & licenses will be a follow-on supplemental system for the existing Pyxis medstations for expansion. Market research was conducted and determined that sole sourcing this requirement is in the best interest of the Government. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN 2), VA Hudson Valley Healthcare System Montrose (FDR) & Castle Point (CP) Campuses intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253 (c) (1)-FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to CareFusion Solutions, LLC. 3750 Torrey View Court, San Diego, CA 92130. CareFusion will provide Cubie Drawers HH & Cubie Drawers Full Height with additional ES link Licenses and hosted data services under NAC FSS Contract#36F79718D0454. This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract. This Notice of Intent is not a request for Proposals or Quotations. No solicitation document exists and no telephone or email inquiries will be accepted. No contract award will be made on the basis of proposals, or quotations received in response to this notice. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, and should furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to provide supplies or services sought including pricing data and technical data sufficient enough to determine that a comparable source to the government is available. The Government may consider all Expressions of Interest received prior to July 06, 2018. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses to this notice must be emailed to Aleta.Jennette@va.gov and received by 10:00AM EST on July 06, 2018. Submitters are responsible for ensuring their EOI reaches the designated contracting officer on-time. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer to Announcement 36C24218Q9545. NAICS 339112 is NOT on the SBA Class Waiver List nor will SBA issue a Non Manufacturer waiver for this Brand Name Requirement.
