Exhibit Requirements Exhibit specifications Draft Requirments General Exhibit Specfications Dear Contractor: The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) is seeking Contractors, within 100 miles of the Washington DC Facility, with the capability to provide Exhibit Fabrication and Installation Support for the National Archives Facility in Washington, DC and for some traveling exhibits. This request for information (RFI) is issued as market research for information gathering and requirement development efforts. This RFI is leading towards the award of a multiple-award BPA. To assist in the National Archives market research and requirements development efforts, we are issuing this Request for Information (RFI). This RFI will result in a site-visit at the National Archives facility in Washington DC. The intent is to gauge interest in the requirement and afford interested Contractors an opportunity to question and discuss key requirement details. The information will/may be utilized to further develop requirements documents to support NARA’s Exhibit Fabrication Requirements. The resulting site-visit will afford interested Contractors the following opportunities: · Contractors will be provided with a high level summary of the National Archives and Records Administration Exhibit requirements and some goals; · Contractors will be afforded an opportunity to ask questions concerning the exhibits; · Contractors will be afforded an opportunity to have a walk-through of exhibit facilities; · Contractors will be afforded an opportunity to offer suggestions to improve the quality of the requirements doc (i.e. information not included that may be of assistance, clarifications of goals, etc.) to ensure the ability to provide competent responses. Contractors wishing to be present at the site-visit meeting must register with the Contracting Specialist, Mr. Damon Nevils, in writing at damon.nevils@nara.gov by 1:00pm ET, July 6th. The site-visit will be July 9, 2018 2016 at 10:00am ET at the National Archives and Records Administration, located at 700 Pennsylvania Ave NW, Washington DC 20408. All registrations to attend the site-visit must be submitted by 1:00pm ET, July 6th to be considered. Additional site-visit information will be provided to pre-solicitation registrants. Contractor’s requesting to be present must include in their registration request, the company name and the names and roles of each representative to be present. Contractor registration must be provided to the Contract Specialist by the registration due date. At the conclusion of the site-visit Vendors will submit electronic copies of questions to the Contracting Specialist. Vendors incapable of participating in the site-visit incapable of meeting may submit questions and comments to the Contract Specialist by the registration date. All Questions and comments submitted (in writing via email) will be considered during the drafting of the final requirements doc. Note: The Government is not responsible for travel or any other costs associated with attendance of the site-visit meeting nor will the Government be held responsible for any cost associated with planning related to the project.
