Description

Notice of Intent The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a VOSB sole source commercial item contract to Pulcir Inc, the exclusive veteran owned small business distributor of Biodex products. The Durham Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) requested the following exact match equipment: # Model # Equipment Name Quantity 1 biodex 132-5003 Biodex 132-503 Pulmonex II Xenon System 1 EA 2 biodex 136-7555 Biodex 136-755 Xenon Trap Monitor 1 EA This proposed contract is for a Biodex Pulmonex Xenon System for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of VAAR 813.106-70 (b).   This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes The Government will not pay for any information submitted as a result of this notice. This notice shall not be construed as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.   Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
