Question: Can the Government confirm this building is indeed supposed to receive a camera? 40T will be replaced some time in the future. There is a light pole that the camera can be put on. Background. During the site visit, there were many questions asked that Chief Connor was not able to address and referred attendees to submit those through the contracting office. Considering the amount of unknown variables currently in the solicitation and time required to address those it leaves very little time to prepare an accurate and complete quote Question: Will the Government consider a two week (13 July) extension of the submission date in consideration of this as well as the holiday during the first week of July? Yes Has it been determined if any locations exterior to builds require conduit and/or power? Conduit yes. Power no. Who is providing network switches? Network switches are in place in IT Closets Can an overlay of the facility grounds be provided with building numbers? Yes included. The exterior PTZ on light pole 3-K presents an issue due to the current construction and the fact that the conduit to the pole likely no longer exists. Would you consider moving that camera high up on the North side of building 1 and aiming it down at the parking lot to avoid the expense of installing conduit to the pole? Yes, If the camera has a good zoom. Able to read license plate numbers. If you do not wish to move the camera to the building, who will be responsible for getting the local 110v power to the pole? Which building will the conduit run to? NA Who will be responsible for programming the access control system to work with the camera system? TYCO/Johnson Controls Please confirm that only 2 workstations are wanted. Yes. One in B12 Dispatch, One in B13 Chief Police. Period of Performance is stated at 30 days after receipt of order is this a mistake? Between Vicon delivering the ordered equipment and onsite engineering required this time line is not reasonable. Can this be extended to the typical time line of 180 days from ARO? It has been extended to 45 days ARO. The statement that the new CCTV system shall be capable of interfacing with the access control system is this the final statement by the government on this subject? Yes. Must integrate with CCure 9000. The requirement to utilize existing wiring puts the liability on the government that all wiring is good. How has the government determined that all wiring is good? With so many cameras not working, both analog and IP, would the government be better served by requesting all new wiring? Need to verify that the wiring is good. If not replace it. Reminder: Please read entire solicitation and all amendments thoroughly. Note: The question period is closed. (XI) Any amendments issued to this solicitation will ONLY be available on the FBO website (www.fbo.gov).
