- Solicitation N66604-18-Q-1684 Solicitation number N66604-18-Q-1684 is hereby attached and posted. Description: This synopsis is being posted to Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov. It is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet. This is a synopsis for non-commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 13 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the most recent Federal Acquisition Circular. This procurement is being processed on a limited source basis under NAICS Code 541380 size standard 15.0 (millions of dollars), as concurred with by the NUWCDIVNPT Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP). NUWC Division Newport intends to procure services to perform MIL-S-901 shock testing's in accordance with attached Draft Statement of Work on a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) basis: CLIN 0001: Services to perform MIL-S-901 shock testing at a qualified facility in accordance with Statement of Work. Quantity: 1/Job Required Period of Performance will be 4 Months ARO. F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport; Newport, RI. Offerors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM) to be eligible for award. The following additional terms and conditions apply: Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating is DO-C9. The anticipated release date of the solicitation N6660418Q1684 is May 30, 2018. Additional details will be released upon issuance of the Request for Quote. The closing date for receipt of quotes will be established in the Request for Quote. The Government intends to award a single Firm Fixed Price purchase order to the eligible, responsible offeror whose offer represents the lowest price technically acceptable offer. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring this site for any amendments. NOTE: In accordance with NAVSEA INSTRUCTION 9491.1C, commercial facilities used to conduct the MIL-S-901 D heavyweight shock test must be qualified. NAVSEA INSTRUCTION 9491.1C provides a list of the approved commercial facilities. Using any other commercially available source for the heavyweight shock test is prohibited per NAVSEA INSTRUCTION 9491.1C.
