- Synopsis - Paint six (6) static museum aircraft at Barksdale AFB, LA This requirement is a competitive 100% small business set-aside concern in accordance with FAR Part 19.14. Notice to Offerors: Funds are not currently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. The NAICS for this project is 238320 and the small business size standard is $15M. The objective of service is to properly prep, sand, prime, and paint the Barksdale Global Power Museum B-52D, FB-111, B-17, B-24, KC-97, and B-47 static display aircrafts. The aircraft tires and landing gear struts will be covered in order to prevent overspray onto these areas. Surface contamination will be removed through use of environmentally approved high-pressure wash cleaner and thorough rinsing. The contractor will be required to provide all labor, equipment, materials, transportation and supervision necessary to fulfill the requirement at Barksdale AFB, LA in accordance with the project drawings and all applicable code requirements. The RFP will close 30 calendar days after the RFP is released. The period of performance is a mandatory 180 calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. The Notice to Proceed may be issued within 30 days after award of the contract. The Request for Proposal will be available by electronic transmission only at www.fbo.gov. Potential contractors must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award; see webpage at www.sam.gov. All proposals shall be valid for 180 calendar days after the RFP closing to be considered responsive. The magnitude of the project is between $100,000 and $250,000.00.
