- Description
- J&A This is a proposed follow-on action to Task order P17PB0049 awarded to URS/AECOM under a blanket purchase agreement P13PA00014 for a construction manager for the construction project known as Rehabilitate the waterlines at the National Mall and Memorial Parks. The BPA has expired and the subsequent order is intended to be awarded against the AECOM GSA Schedule in order to maintain continuity between on-site construction management representatives (CMRs). This action will be a new sole source task order to URS/AECOM to bring a second construction manager to the site for added inspection and other construction management services under the AECOM GSA contract GS-00F-188CA for construction management services. In accordance with the construction Contractor's approved work plans there are times when two drilling crews are working simultaneously. To provide adequate observation of multiple construction crews working in separate areas, there is an urgent need for an additional CMR to assist the current CMR to perform inspection oversight duties at separate locations. There is also a need for a second CMR to cover an increase of paperwork activity such as additional daily reports and increased documentation due to the second work crew and to cover the ongoing coordination activities with National Mall activities and events as well as increased security requirements at the National Mall. It is essential both construction managers are with the same firm because of overlapping duties and sharing of the same work space. Interested persons may identify their interest by responding to the requirement within 15 days after the date of publication of this notices. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered soley for the purpose of determining whether to condut a competitive prcourement. No solicitation is available.
