Description
General: The National Park Service, Department of Interior, is soliciting proposals for construction firms having the capability to perform the work described as follows: Contractor shall provide all tools, equipment, materials, labor, supervision, personnel and shall do all things necessary that will result in the completed demolishing of the existing 600 square feet 4 inch thick reinforced concrete. Concrete is reinforced with either wire screen or rebar on the west side entryway. Expose the basement tunnel top that is currently leaking in the basement and waterproof with 60 mil rubber. Insulate concrete with a minimum of 5mm(0.2) closed cell polyethylene foam covered on both sides, double aluminum face barrier against fire, flame rate of 0, and be impermeable. Insulation consists of approximately 600 square feet of the concrete pour. Install new approximately 600 square feet of concrete 4 inches thick to match the previous design that was removed. Add staining and stamping to the concrete similar, texture and design as the London Cobblestone. The site location is Ulysses S. Grant NHS, 7400 Grant Rd, St. Louis, MO 63123. Solicitation Number 140P6218Q0053. The offeror selected shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment and expertise necessary to perform all operations required for the successful completion of this project. Type of Acquisition: A negotiated (with the possibility to award without discussions), firm-fixed price contract will be awarded requiring submission of both a technical and a price proposal. The government will consider an offeror's technical approach, past performance, and price to determine the Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA) offer to the government. The NAICS code for this project is 238390 and the small business size standard is $15.0 million. In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the estimated price range for this contract is between $25,000 and $100,000. This solicitation is advertised as a Small Business Set-aside. This solicitation will be issued electronically, on www.fbo.com or https://www.fedconnect.net/FedConnect/Default.htm on or about 29 June 2018.
