- NOTICE OF INTENT SOLE SOURCE AWARD Marine Corps Installations West Regional Contracting Office (MCIWEST RCO) intends to award a purchase order on a sole source basis on or about 29 June 2018 to Harris Corporation. This sole source award is under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). This requirement is for a tear down evaulation and repair of the Harris XG-100P Unity Portable Radios. Harris Corporation is the only authorized vendor to repair the XG-100P Unity Portable Radios. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811213. The industry description for this NAICS code is Communication Equipment Repair and Maintenance. The size standard for this NAICS code is 11.0 millions of dollars. The Government will award this contract using FAR Part 12, Commercial Items in accordance with FAR Part 13.5, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Award will be issued on a firm-fixed purchase order on an all or none basis. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit an expression of interest or capability statement, which if received within 5 calendar days of publication of this notice, shall be considered by the MCIWEST RCO for future requirements, as this is a reoccurring requirement.
