Description
HPE Re-Certification Customer Letter - Public Sector Sources Sought Information Request Form Preliminary Performance Work Statement Data Center Infrastructure Relocation THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. This notice is for planning purposes only and does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in response. The government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. Any contractor responding to this notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the government to determine the contractor's qualifications to perform work. Respondents are advised that the government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. After review of the responses received, a pre-solicitation synopsis and solicitation may be published. However, responses to this notice will not be considered adequate responses to a solicitation. The Oregon National Guard is seeking information on sources that are available to provide the relocation of Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) data center infrastructure to a new location per the preliminary Performance Work Statement. The vendor will need to provide the relocation service in Salem, Oregon in August of 2018. Our tentative requirement is for the following: Uninstall 13 pieces of HPE equipment (Appendix A to the Preliminary Performance Work Statement), package, transport the HPE equipment listed in Appendix A from 1776 Militia Way SE Salem, OR 97301 to 230 Geer Drive NE Salem, OR 97301, perform HPE hardware equipment assembly, re-racking and reconnection of necessary power, and equipment interconnect cabling. Vendor will conduct verification testing on all equipment. If relocated equipment is lost or damaged during de-installation, transportation, or re-installation the contractor is responsible to either repair damaged equipment, or replace equipment with functionally equivalent equipment within 24 hours of reinstallation. Software used on computing hardware is specific and can only operate on HPE equipment. Vendor is responsible to maintain the validity of the HPE hardware and software support during and after the equipment relocation. If HPE Re-certification is required the contractor is responsible to verify that all equipment can meet the re-certification requirements, and be re-certified within 24 hours of reinstallation. The timeframe from initiation (de-installation) to completion (data center infrastructure is fully operational) will be no more than 24 hours; 48 hours if HPE Re-Certification is necessary. The Oregon National Guard is anticipating the relocation to be conducted under one contract. Any interested firms are encouraged to respond and state their capabilities based on the requirements listed above. Interested firms are to complete pages 1-2 of the Sources Sought Information Request Form and return it via e-mail to spencer.r.winn.civ@mail.mil no later than 1100 Pacific Standard Time on 06 July 2018. At this time due to shortage in personnel and increased requirements, meetings with potential vendors will not be accepted. In the future and if these requirements are solicited for, the ORARNG may provide for an opportunity to meet with government officials prior to the proposal due date.
