Description
NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE Solicitation #: N00173-18-R-JL05 Procurement Type: Special Notice Title: Specialized Computer Hardware Description: The US Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) contemplates a class of orders that will be issued under a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) with Annapolis Micro Systems for use in the proprietary Corefire development environment for the purchase of specialized computer hardware and accessories. This hardware will include field programmable gate array (FPGA) based processor cards, digitizer modules, RF/IF conditioner cards, clock synchronization cards, fast data storage units, and both digital to analog and analog to digital converter modules. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. Section 2304 (c)(1), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a quotation and technical capabilities, which, if received within seven (7) calendar days of publication of this notice, shall be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government to compete, or not, will be based on the responses received, and is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered only for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The NAICS is 334111 with a size standard of 1,250 employees.
