Description

The US Forest Service - Willamette National Forest will solicit a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for a contractor to transport trees from various staging sites (elevation 1,200 -1,400 feet above sea level) to Brush, Tiller, and Hehe Creeks (elevation 1,200 - 1,600 feet above sea level), destinations ranging from about 0.1 to 1 mile from staging sites. Tree and log weights are estimated at 5,000 pounds and less. Tree and log lengths range from 25 to 45 feet long. The contract's period of performance is expected to be at the end of summer 2018. The solicitation is expected to be posted on 16 July 2018, and will likely close on 16 August 2018. Contract award is anticipated to be on 22 August 2018. Quoters must ensure registration in the System for Award Management database at https://www.sam.gov prior to any contract award.
